Why Blackjack Poker?
1 Its simple- Most people know how to play blackjack (sometimes called pontoon) so its a very easy game to learn
2 It uses poker betting rounds - This allows players to both get used to the idea of fixed limit betting with regards to poker in a simple enviroment
3 It gives you the opportunity to bet on your hand and play tactically - in short it is much more a game of skill than normal casino blackjack. You arent playing against the house, you're playing at other players, so you can win by playing well.
4 Its fast paced - You can't be beat with 21 (except with a 7 cad charlie which is a 40,000-1 shot anyway) and you start off with only one card. So unlike poker, where you can sit all day folding until you get a pair of pocket aces, go all in and be beat by some idiot who calls you with a 2 7 offsuit you know when you are going to at least share the pot.
5 There isnt much to learn if you want to play it well online- Working out the odds is fairly simple and easy to get good at Best of all its fun, so if you play sensibly and responsibly there shouldn't be any harm Note my advice is exactly just that, advice.
